Texas & Florida – Court Delay/Closures [Updated: 9/6/17]

Please Be Advised: Update as of 9/6/17 – Due to the incoming threat of Hurricane Irma, Chief Justice Jorge Labarga has issued an order closing most state courts in Florida on Friday, September 8th. Exceptions are: Escambia, Hardee, Highlands, Okaloosa,  Polk, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties.

The below Florida counties have scheduled closings due to incoming Hurricane Irma, and if weather permits, will reopen at the mentioned dates below.

FLORIDA COUNTIES:
Brevard – Closing 9/8 – 9/12
Broward – Closing 9/7 – 9/11
Charlotte – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Citrus – Closing 9/8 – 9/11
Collier – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Columbia – Closing 9/8
De Soto – Closing 9/8
Dixie – Closing 9/8
Flagler – Closing 9/8 – 9/12
Glades – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Hamilton – Closing 9/8
Hendry – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Hernando – Closing 9/8 – 9/11
Hillsborough – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Indian River – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Lafayette – Closing 9/8
Lake – Closing 9/8 – 9/11
Lee – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Madison – Closing 9/8
Manatee – Closing 9/8
Marion – Closing 9/8 – 9/11
Martin – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Miami-Dade – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Monroe – Closing 9/6 – 9/8
Okeechobee – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Palm Beach – Closing 9/7 – 9/8
Putnam – Closing 9/8 – 9/12

Orange – Closed until 9/11
Refugio – Closed
