Please Be Advised: Most courts have resumed normal operation with the exception of a select few. Please note that we are still experiencing some backlog and delays throughout Florida that vary county by county. We are working the best we can to get these all current.

The below list of counties are still closed until further notice.

Please Be Advised: Below is an update on the court closures/delays from recent Hurricanes in the South/Southeastern portion of the United States.

We are still experiencing delays throughout the state of Florida, but most of the courts are now opened. There will be minor delays in some of the South Carolina counties, as well as Georgia, that were recently closed this week.

The counties listed below for each state are currently closed as of 9/13/17. As we receive new information we will be sure to update you right away.

Governor Nathan Deal has issued a state of emergency in all 159 counties.  Several Southern Georgia counties have reported that their offices will be closed due to Hurricane Irma impacting their offices the next 2 days. Please Be Advised: Update as of 9/8/17 – Due to the incoming threat of Hurricane Irma, Chief Justice Jorge Labarga has issued an order closing ALL state courts in Florida on Friday, September 8th.
Exceptions are: Escambia, Hardee, Highlands, Okaloosa, Polk, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties. This could change based on the weather conditions daily.

Florida counties have scheduled closings due to incoming Hurricane Irma, and if weather permits, will reopen at the mentioned dates below or they could be extended.
